- I earned my BFA at SUNY OSWEGO in Drawing and Photography. After college, I worked as a free-lance artist in Manhattan, sketching buyer's catalogues for many well known manufacturers, including both, Stone Mountain and Adrienne Vittadini Handbags. I did this work until the tragedy of 9/11. ... As my children grew, I enrolled in a painting workshop, taught by Don Keene, at the Pelham Art Center. He is an accomplished artist, and art instructor; a mentor whose gifts have influenced my life... and influenced the marks I make with paint and brush. ...At that time, I painted in Acrylic. Currently, I am painting in Oils and often have my camera in hand to record the moment that is stopped in time, that may inspire a painting. ...I am thinking it is a GREAT way to spend the next 50plus years of my life! (What a JOURNEY!)
